How does it happen?

  

  • Most clients come once or twice a week for 55-minute sessions at fixed weekly times. Flexible arrangements are possible for people with unusual schedules such as creative professionals.
  • Sessions consist of talking, role-play, expressive work and other types of body-work and massage where appropriate.
  • Sessions always begin with talking. As in other forms of psychotherapy and counseling, verbal communication is important. Physical work is introduced to deepen and clarify the process—if agreed with the client.
  • Confidentiality is guaranteed. The consulting room is a safe space. The time is your time. You and your life are the focus of our work. Having a caring and supportive space in which to focus exclusively on yourself without distraction by other people's needs can be very healing. All feelings and experiences are respected.
  • Some clients come for a limited number of counselling sessions to get help in coping with immediate crises. Some stay for a year or two or longer with the aim of getting to know themselves on a deep level, gradually changing deep-rooted behavioral patterns and ultimately increasing their joy in life.
